My 2 cents...

We did this at the Ferrari forums (at my suggestion :oops: ) and the site really slowed down. There are some posters who post, at least partly, to increase their count, believe it or not.

I do like the idea in principle, though.:)

I've decided to keep the post counts, as I believe it will result in higher activity at the boards than without post counts.

    It's not a criteria, as it's not a fact. I believe the post counts will inspire people to post more. Again, not a fact, it's what I think. Sorry to disappoint you, can't please everyone.
