Del Piero, what a record

Another goal, another record for Del Piero. The fantastic this season's start by Alex is still running. The goal against Jugoslavia, in the last Saturday match in Naples, brought the striker at 20 goals with the shirt of the national team.

Twenty as many as the goals of the unforgettable "blue" and bianconero Paolo Rossi. One more than Roberto Bettega. Always closer to other "Gods" of the italian football as Sandro Mazzola (22), Graziani (23), Baloncieri and Altobelli (25). A standing that see Riva, Meazza and Piola on the top.

Twenty goals in blue shirt, all scored as Juventus player. And this is a record all of his. No other bianconero player scored so much with the blue shiro. Bettega and Roberto Baggio stopped to 19, Inzaghi at 15, Orsi and Paolo Rossi at 13.

Alessandro Del Piero's total score in his official games is 153:

Serie A 89
International Cups 33
National Cup 8
National team 20
Under 21 3

 does anyone know how many goals the top guys have (Riva, Meazza, Piola)

Buy on

He's claiming that goal?! It took a huge deflection off a Yogoslavian, it totally changed the direction! Not that I'm complaining ;)
