Real Madrid have been ordered to pay an extra £5.3m to Inter Milan relating to the signing of striker Ronaldo.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport made the ruling after Real had appealed against a Fifa order to pay a £6.6m settlement to Inter.

Ronaldo joined Real in August 2002 for £23.2m in a deal also involving the part-exchange of Santiago Solari.

Although the fee was paid, Inter issued their claim for more money after Solari refused to move to Italy.

The Court of Arbitration said: "Real Madrid and Inter Milan have decided to settle the controversy related to the interpretation of the transfer agreement of Ronaldo."

Real agreed to pay £4.6m by 30 June and an additional £700,000 by 30 June next year.

I've seen this in the news couple of months ago actually. I read that Real has to pay high interest on the money it kept for so long.
