well guys i'll have to defend our EPl.

Lets suppose the EPL is a boring league, then i wonder how come they have the most fans it is the most followed league as all of you know.

but i think that if it is a boring league,it wont have much followers

right?:D
well, here's my take on why EPL is so popular...

1. marketing....marketing...marketing! nuff sed :dontcare: (how i wish italian or spanish teams wud market themselves a bit more)
2. they have gr8 broadcasters. if u watch la liga or serie A....they commentators are soo damn boring :wallbang: good commentators make the game more interesting to watch....well, that's what my bro sed :p
3. the brits used to conquer half of the world just recently...esp asia :p so, it'smore of a history thing :D

I would had liked to C all countries beeing calculated after playin' equal # of
games... what is this? some lagues have played over 80 games when
    some other over 200...
They took a solid number of time.

Because some countries play more matches and competitions, they calculated an average percentage. I don't see what's so wrong with that?! :undecide:

I wonder what time frame was studied. Is the study based on this season's matches? I saw a similar study based entirely upon the 2002-03 season, and surprisingly, France had the highest percentage of 0-0 draws!

    hey dudes
lets get this straight,Kaizer says its marketing, true but unaccepted excuse,Gray says Man utd won 8 of the last 11,also true but as you probably know historicly Liverpool won it 17 Man utd 15 Arsenal 12
not like the La Liga which Real won it 29 times
or the Serie A which juve won it 28.

It's not really about the number of times; more like total league domination. Long stretches where one team just keeeeps winning the title. The last decade of English football has been very boring and predictable, not like Italy where 4 teams were within a few points of winning the title. Only a few years ago, Man U had won the title about 7 matches from the end of the season

The the EPL only counts its champions from 1992, I believe. What about the other 100 years of football. Wolves probably won 30 titles
no one won it 30 times

I know, but nobody was going to believe that Wolves won anything 30 times, let alone the championship. Who has been crowned champion of England the most?
