Fabrizio Ravanelli enjoyed many successes as Juventus player - and it appears his winning touch is also rubbing off as a coach.
The ‘White Feather’, who returned to work with the club’s youth academy last season, led his Giovanissimi Regionali side to victory in the Graziano Peretti tournament contested over the weekend in Vicenza.
His group, comprising of 13-year-old prospects, showed tactical awareness and technical quality to overcome prestigious opposition.
“I’m truly delighted,” commented the coach. “We’ve faced and beat renowned Italian sides, enjoying perfect performances - such our display against Udinese - and gone beyond our own expectations. The final with Arzignano pitted us against a team with players a year older and physically stronger than us, but my lads refused to be intimidated, playing and winning well.”
