He does look like a proud guy who does what he says he is doing so that wouldnt suprise me that much.
This should be really appreciated, cuz some guys like Szczesny for example milked us as much as they could, which from player point of view is also understandable. This guy felt different connection with the club it seems.
Szczesny didn't milk us either imo. He had every right to hold onto his contract and made a deal to pay his salary (minus a new contract which he eventually signed at Barca). Therefor basically costing us next to nothing...

Kolo Muani was a good pick up
Veiga is a gamble worth taking

Costa is another gamble worth taking.

Kelly seems a bizzarre choice as we have an obligation.

Fagioli I wouldn't have sold, it's sad losing players that have been with the club for so long and have more to give.

Too many loans though, I hate it when it feels like we just have mercenaries. I already feel so little attachment to many of the players we have.

CalcioFinanza posted the cost of incomings and outgoings:

Whats strange here is the reported salary of Kelly - which is 1.2m net

Between incomings and outgoings, therefore, the impact on the 2024/25 budget of the winter transfer market concluded by Juventus should translate according to estimates into a negative impact of around 5 million euros . This is the figure for incoming and outgoing operations, although it is worth remembering the potential redemption of Fagioli and the consequent capital gain for the Bianconeri.
Considering instead only the balance between incomings and outgoings with regards to the registrations (only the definitive operations, without considering the costs incurred for the loans), the transfer session for Juventus sees a negative balance of 30 million euros .

Definitely below a pass mark so I would say a 4.

Didn’t address the key priority which a confident, proven CB to fill the void now.

Got two decent players, but they are on a loan and we are unlikely to be able to afford either in the summer so we are training players for bigger teams than us.

Sold a player to a direct rival and spunked that money on someone who is unlikely to be of any use this season and maybe the future.

We needed a striker, full back and at least 1 centre back all ready to hit the ground running.

Only Kolo Muoni is really at the level to come in and improve the team straight away.

We also wasted too much time to resolve the CB issue.

The Kelly transfer is horrible for a number of reasons. Renato Veiga is interesting but has barely played CB in his career and is a dry loan, so we are effectively developing him to play CB for a few months then hand him back.

Our RB has had no minutes so far and doesn't seem to be rated by Motta ahead of converted attacking mids or a fullback from the next gen.

Fagioli deal is too low and strengthens a direct rival.

Consider what we needed and when Bremer got injured, then look at how desperate Guintoli got when our main targets weren't available. He got lucky on Muani, but his numbers at PSG are terrible. Also, he should've loaned out Luiz to get his form back or at least prepare to sell in the summer.

I'm also sad that we didn't get Felix, he has a lot of experience and would've made us a lot more potent in attack. We are out of the scudetto race already and we have to wrap up 4th place, so sometimes it's worth getting that one player who could make a massive impact even on loan, even if it glosses over our problems.

Worst case is that we beat all bottom half teams and get draws against our direct rivals, that would be enough for 4th spot. Sounds depressing as hell, but it's the pragmatic way to secure UCL football and getting Kelly doesn't fill me with confidence. If anything, I'm scared about losing Muani because 4th place could be lost so easily.

I gave it an optimistic 4, based on me considering Kolo Muani and Veiga as useful players. I've no opinion on Costa, even if we did need another fullback. Kelly is extremely random, maybe he'll turn out the opposite of Luiz.

The club will talk about "recovering" players I'm sure, those injured and who haven't contributed enough so far (Koop, Lulz, Milik, even Adzic), and I'm sure that's why we haven't done a bigger mercato like Milan, I just don't have enough faith that enough of these things will happen.

I start with 6.
Muani +2: decent
Albert -0.5: unsure but we paid too much and he cannot help us right away
Veiga +1: could be useful
Kelly -5: go fuck yourself
Fagioli -1: sad
Arthur +0.5: ehhhh

So that's a 3/10.

Since WTF/10 wasn't an option in the poll, I went with 3/10.

We needed additional players in defence & an extra striker and that's what we signed, so that's a positive surprise.
The less said about who we signed & how, the better.
Regardless, needing 4 incoming players in January is just further proof that your squad building has been disastrous.

This is yet another transfer window where our main objective seems to have been: short term "solutions", long term problems. We keep fixing mistakes by making additional mistakes that will need fixing next time. It's all so predictable.

Also, I'm fine with Fagioli leaving. But going by Giuntoli's usual math, shouldn't he have went for €40 million, give or take?
