Our situation is not nearly as grave as people are making it out to be. Zebina has shown in the pre season he is a quality right back, Caceras may surprise us and DC may improve his defensive ability.
What surprises me most of all though, is the massive Molinaro bashing that's going on. Sure, Moli cannot cross whatsoever and he has trouble attacking the flanks, but he is solid defensively! We've seen that in CL last year against quality opposition he can be a good defensive LB. And that's exactly what you're all whining about: Bayern etc. will smash our flanks. Molinaro has an ability to step up in big games and be a rock in defense.
The only worry on our flanks is playing is playing Grygera who doesn't have that hunger and that ability to step up. We need Zebina in RB if we don't want to get killed.
Enough of this "we are Juve, so don't worry about it". The real factor that should be affecting our judgment on this squad is recent history and form. Look no further then last years CL against Real and Chelsea. Seemingly, our side was inferior, yet it was the defensive mindset on our flanks that saved us from conceding a lot of goals.
