5m for him isn't bad at all.

He became slower now, but at 31 he's still in very good age for a CB (younger than both Lucio and Samuel) and much better option for a 3rd CB than Legro, Barzagli or whoever else was linked to Juve lately in the CB department.

Im not denying him being a rather good addition to our squad, it's just that last I've heard he had only one year left on his contract and Barca were eager to get rid of him after the world cup. Now would you offer 5-7m for that? Hell it was even reported at the start of this rumor that we bid 3m, how the fuck do we bid the double with no talks reported what so ever. I doubt we're even considering the guy but 5-7m for him is too much with us bitching about a 3m in the Krasic deal.

I really don't like him as a CB. He always makes a lot of mistakes for Barcelona. I do like him as a defensive midfielder though. Should play there more often.
