Liverpool have been linked with this guy for months, but he can't be good because the mighty Udinese aren't interested in him?

I said Udinese have a very good scouting system which they do. Liverpool on the other hand do not have a good scouting system as many young players they've signed in the past have slipped through the net and never been heard of again because they simply don't cut it.

I would hardly say that signing an 18yo centre back with Champions League experience, who has won the Young Scottish Player of the Year Award for only £2m (which is likely to be made up of add-ons) is a bad transfer policy. Not really much of a risk there.

I think the deal is meant to be £2m plus add ons, rather than the add ons being part of the £2m figure.
