Well, now that we've automatically qualified for next season's Europa League, we can safely say that our Pain and Humiliation European Tour will continue into next year. ;)

Meanwhile, as reported by Sky, in Turin today held a summit at the headquarters of Juventus between the president elect Andrea Agnelli, the outgoing president and CEO Jean-Claude Blanc and CEO of Exor (the financial Agnelli ) Carlo Sant'Albano. Order days, probably, the new company structure and marketing strategies, including coaching. If Benitez does not arrive, the alternatives are, in order of preference, Cesare Prandelli, Luciano Spalletti (however difficult that may escape from the zenith to the championship course) and Lugi Del Neri.

Benitez agent: 'Juve unlikely' Thursday 6 May, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus target Rafa Benitez is “at the moment more likely to remain in England,” revealed his agent.

The Liverpool manager is the number one candidate to replace Alberto Zaccheroni in Turin next season.

“At the moment Rafa is more likely to remain in England,” confessed agent Manuel Garcia Quilon to calciomercato.it.

The future could hinge on a meeting with new Liverpool chairman Martin Broughton, which has been repeatedly postponed.

“I don’t know if he has already met or will in the next few days meet with Broughton. You’d have to ask him that.

“I can certainly say that the issue of investment is very important, because this team needs new signings.”

Forget benitez. He doesnt want to come. We are his back up option, only if liverpool dont give him money. We shouldnt be chasing a coach who we are not a priority for.

These links to spalletti and del neri are horrible. Neither is good enough to manage us. I would prefer mancini to join us. We should go for capello or lippi now that rafas intentions are plain for all to see.

the board bring about the biggest anti climax ever, first hiddink and settled on zaccheroni, now benitez and potentially settling on Del neri or worse.
Yeah your absolutely right, I will never believe in this board, if we are going to get a top coach like Benitez then I will believe it when it becomes officiall..

Del neri would be fuckt up, Prandelli would be ok, Spaletti better then Del neri but not good enought.. Allegri or Gasperini a big gamle..
