That's my fear. Not that I would be too upset if we signed Rafa but I wouldn't want to miss out on someone better (and cheaper) just because we were in a rush
But who would we be missing out on?

Prandelli would be great. I was a big fan of his before we appointed Ciro. He hasn't had a great season with Fiorentina and some might say that he's not Juve Material yet but he does have a good relationship with his players and who was Lippi before Juve?
Prandelli had a great squad with Viola yet he still underperformed in both league and Europe. Just another overrated italian coach of the same mold

I don't see why any of you want Lippi at this stage. Look at his Azzurri squad. He'd probably keep Grosso, Canna and Legro in the team.
Thats jsut crazy talk

I'm not sure who we're missing out on I'm just not sold on any of the current mentioned possibly available coaches. Also I don't think that Lippi is the right choice for Juve i was just wondering if they would go for round 3 if they didn't get rafa?

I'm also worried about the Rafa-contingency plan

I don't want our board to scramble to sign another failure of a coach if this falls through. And like stated before by others, it would really suck if we don't have a coach come WC or worse -- after the WC :scared:

Blanc. I don't think it's going to matter though. I think Lippi will quit coaching after the WC.
Laurent Blanc is available this summer? :weee:

Why are we not doing everything to get him?

I disagree, he had a poor season in Serie A but Prandelli has had a big hand in turing the Viola into a top team.

It is unfair to criticize him for their campaign in Europe since they were knocked out by an abysmal display of refereeing against a team who have made it all the way to the final.

Thats jsut crazy talk

Bottomline for me is that I want a coach who can bring in a new culture, clean house and get rid of the trash players and attract top flight stars back to Turin.

Rafa is the only one on our radar who can do that, no?

Alena Seredova can do that.

I am not a fan of Benitez...though I am behind Mark on this potential signing. If not him, then the list should begin and end with Cappello, Lippi, Hiddink....with Prandelli and Gasperini as makeshifts.

The present board at Liverpool would have gotten rid of Benitez earlier...if it wouldnt have cost them a bomb. If we are happy to take him, then only his greed, and yes, i mean greed, is stopping the deal...for if we are truly offering him 4m per season...only a greedy cunt would want on top of that, more millions...and professional or not, he is a cunt...as i have been suggesting for weeks. Fuck benitez. Lets offer Lippi or Capello or Hiddink the same...or grab prandelli with marotta.

Both clubs are not playing CL football next year, Pool are expecting fresh money, Rafa still has strong relation with most of the fans out there...if he is to refuse this move, it shouldn't be considered a failure!
