Thats also true offcourse.

But actually, i'm glad it happened. It showed how weak our coach is. And how we totally lack a gameplan. There is an opinionpiece in knack i believe, today about that part.
Basically, there are no tactics, and players kinda fall back on how they play at their respective clubs, cause there is no structure.
Especially the passingstyle is truely horrific.

I loved how he then placed witsel to be shadowstriker , but as a targetman. Later put two strikers, and then complain they act as strikers.

I'm done watching the NT for as long as Wilmots remains here.
Never was a fan of him as a coach (loved him as a player). He's a motivator, nothing more. And the way he kept ignoring Nainggolan but took Defour to the world cup was a horrible miscalculation on his part.

The Witsel move, laughable. If Fellaini ain't there he still tries the same shit. That being said, the NT has too many positions where it actually lacks a truly good player. Wingbacks and striker being the most glaring once, 'though I like Origi. Too bad Juve couldn't snap him up, he reminds me so much of Morata.

Agreed, wich is why we need a good coach. We got alot of talent, we should find a gameplan that compensates for the weaknesses. Striker is indeed an issue. So dont use Lukaku/Benteke. Use Origi like Real is using Benzema. Keep Hazard and De bruyne out of the goddamn center initially, but cut in the space around Origi.

We dont have a genuine CAM. Currently we see Witsel walk towards the player with the ball, and ask a pass of 2 meters. Meanwhile the wings are in the middle and everything is clogged. No one is making runs into space.

I hate our passing. I'm used to juventus, no cam, players dont "ask" for the ball, (except pirlo from cb's), players try to create space to receive the ball.

Imo, belgium should start hazard and de bruyne wide. play with Nainggolan, fellaini and witsel centrally. Origi centreforward. keep the pitch wide, try to get witsel to infiltrate and send a winger trough the defence by combining with Origi.

But currently, we just run with the pass, and try combinations when we suddenly have space. We need a plan to create space when there isnt any.

Our wingbacks, are decent if they dont commit to attacks, cause they got a pretty shitty timing to get back in time. Like when Vertongen against argentina. Keeping high to long, and see lavezzi and messi in the space he left. Could have been behind after like 2 minutes

And then when putting in a striker, he put isn Lukaku who, 100% sure, can't play togheter with Benteke. Put in Origi or Bats

A motivator and he has found a way to let the French speaking players get along with the Dutch speaking players, but for the rest, he is just poor, tactically, not improving the players/team one bit.
Too bad Schalke doesn't want him anymore.

Like, playing two central strikers doesnt work, everyone knows that, unless you are pumping it into the box and they have a strict movement plan or something.
Should absolutely have been Origi or Batsomething. We were lackin a central connection point.

Is there a good french coach in belgium atm ? Preud'homme isnt looking to leave brugges. I dont mind the language of the coach, i mind about what he does with the team

Riga, not good.
Cartier, is he still alive?
That guy from Charleroi seems promising.
Ferreira or Ferrara or how is he called, not good.

So I guess that is a no.
We must just try to convince Gerets.

All this talk about our coach.. It's the players. De Bruyne was horrible, Benteke and Lukaku never made a run into the box to try and score on crosses.. Could have been a great game for Batshuayi, but other than that I believe most would have done what Wilmots did.

Everybody was horrible except Hazard and even with his mistake, Radja, all the rest were horrible (Maybe Courtois gets an ok, depending if you think he could have prevented the goal if he came out instead of staying on his line).
But I still wouldn't have brought Lukaku to play togheter with Benteke, that just doesn't work.

Nah Wilmots is the issue here. Need structure in the attack and defence.

A coach both dutch and french press would like is ideal. Gerets is my ideal, but dont know how the south sees him
