This is such a tricky situation. I don't think there is any possible situation that Roma would sell their half to us, so, and I'm probably confusing myself as I'm typing this, but Juve would have to buy out Cagliari's half and then go into a blind auction with Roma.

Is that really the only feasible way this could even happen?

Damn that would be interesting! :D Coming back to reality though, I think Allan is also a very good player for the middle of the park and much cheaper.

Oh fuck that then. The only way I would even consider it is if they are sure that Roma will bid way above what is expected just to keep him away from Juve. But then that is money down the drain if that happens.

No thanks, I'd rather take Allan
I read your blind auction post and I was about to say Allan, and scrolled further down to see that you figured. :D

Don't mess with this baggage. Buy from Udinese as they are more likely to deal with us legitimately with Allan than Roma with this guy.

I like Alan, think he is a great defender and works his tail off. However, nain is all of that with offensive power. Both are warriors, Nain is clearly the better player which is why he is a hot commodity across Europe. End of the day, Nain will be much more expensive and Roma won't give away for a bargain.

if Vidal or pogba leave, we go after Nain. If they stay, we can still go after Alan. That's the difference.

Rather have Nain than Witsel hands down.

Allan is probably more useful for our team and gives us tactical versatility. Marchisio, Asamoah, Vidal, and Pereyra can probably all fill the Nainggolan role, whereas Allan as a pure DM could let us even switch to a formation without a regista, provided that we buy a trequartista.

i can think of several adjectives to describe nainggolan, even some negative ones but "selfish" would have never come to mind ^^.

Pjanic would definitely be awesome here, and i really think Kovacic needs to get the hell out of inter, too good for that team. He could do wonders at juve.

I do like Nainggolan, he will probably become like licht once he is here, a player that all oppositions will hate, but i just think we have too many starting mids, and he wouldnt want to be benched. Allan on the other hand, is younger and probably would not mind becoming rotation ala Pereyra.

Thats BS.Nainggolan is among the best midfielders in the league.
so is Allan. but what i meant is Allan would be a better signing in terms of money spent/quality we get. he would be MUCH cheaper. we would have to pay 10-15M for Cagliaris half alone. imagine dealing with Roma after that

I dont think its possible to buy cagliaris half, but we might help them win a blind auction for say 15m. Cagliari would than own naingollan 100% and we could buy him for 25-30m. Seems a long shot anyway, and after spending so much time in roma, he is tainted.
