I like this guy, but he is a pointless signing in my book, unless it is for marketing purposes. In any case, people in Indonesia, just like in Thailand, don't buy the official merchandise, so I don't see the point.
We should get a Japanese player for marketing purposes (and cuz many of them are awesome), and allow Asamoah to play in his natural midfield role. I am really dying to see him there; he is such a fucking beast and we are wasting him there. It's like playing Sissoko @ LWB ffs!

pogba and vidal and marchisio can compete for the forward moving roles, with pirlo holding
Technically, asamoah also suits for this role. He'd be 4th choise tho.
the pirlo role however is simething diffrent. asamoah isnt a holding midfielder. neighter is pogba or vidal they are wasted there.
This is where naingollan comes in. He's a good holding midfielder with decent positionning.

Loan with option to buy is a good enough for me. Without Pirlo we don't have anyone for that hold role in midfield. Regardless of formation, we'll need a replacement for Pirlo long term. If this is te solution, so be it.

I said it once and I'll say it again: he's good but we don't need him considering the price of his card. We better bring back Marrone who will be that rotation player and a holding midfielder when Pirlo needs rest. Pogba and Vidal can play it too at times after all they're WC players (or close to it). If Mark is right about our possible transfer budget which would be about 20m then we're spending almost all our cash on a rotation CM player while we have no proper LB and RW for starting 11.
