The game has evolved. Defenders, midfielders and forwards have to work as a unit now and not divided into sectors of the pitch.

At the moment, with this Juve, I'd go 3-5-2 against Barcelona by the way. Just imagine a Silva instead of Bonucci, a duo of ADN-Ibra upfront (don't want to go further than Serie A) and all the tactical solidness we showed against Roma. Poor bastards would they be. :D
i disagree on the first part, its the "totall football" that epl and some other teams want to force up

look back at juve in 2003, we allready did it

and we allowed dp and trez to work much less

and it still work today, if the endproduct is there

but soccer has alot less stars then 10 years ago, so thats why that concept seems to work

What are your thoughts on this?
since we got Boriello and failed to sell our forwards, i would prefer us to invest on one defender, preferably a foreigner, LB or CB, so that we can bench Bonucci.
This should be our priority, as starter issues should get a priority over sub issues.

After that, i would like to see us, applying the scheme, we deployed against Roma
instead of the 4-3-2-1, the 4-2-3-1. There are both 4-5-1, but the later on the offense becomes a more effective 4-3-3, because the extra SS/winger widens our front, making it multidimensional and much more harder to contain, also beco,es more creative as SS+wingers are more creative than CMs and more threatening as Giacche proved.

The 1 CF, should be Matri/Boriello/Toni
The 3 behind him Vucinic+Guaq+Pepe /Giacche+DP+Krasic /EstiG+Iaq+Elia (taking an optimal use of our abundance of SSs/wingers)
and the back 2 Pirlo+Marchisio /Vidal+Piazenza /Marrone+Pardo.

invest the money on a defender and focus at selling Amauri.
And raise funds to sign De Rossi next year, or just bring MElo back for depth, if they dont pay the 13mil and save up for a WC CF

PS: if we insist at keeping the asymmetric 4-3-2-1 i would prefer Pizzaro, because he is the only player imo that can actually replace Pirlo.
