In the strangest deal of the month, Romanian Second Division club UT Arad sold defender Marius Ciora to Fourth Division Regal Horia for 15 kilograms of meat. But Cioara left his new club fuming by then announcing his retirement and heading of to spain to find a job in agriculture or construction.
"We're upset because we lost a good player and our team's food for a week," said a club official.
