Here's a thought: Every September 11 I find myself feeling very depressed for the loss of Todd and Timmy, and I now feel that I should honor them in some way. I'm thinking that it would be fun to mark September 11 every year by flying an airplane into some public building in Saudi Arabia. This will be great.
Never forget Todd and Timmy. Honor them by keeping your windows clean.

No, if you're talking about capitalist shrines it really doesn't get any better than two skyscrapers. Unless two new skyscrapers are built of course.
The US Capitol is simply a government building. I mean, such a building has to be expensive and beautiful. Otherwise there would be no pride in your nation.
Because the laws that are passed in that building are either passed or vetoed before they are voted on in that building. Its just a venue for congregation -- more of a meeting hall for fat cats. Blowing it up would not really effect anyone cuz those same fat cats or their replacements would find a new location to meet. I think blowing up a bunch of reps & senators would have less effect on our country than blasting a bunch of civilians.
Nah, because if you blow up the senators and the representatives, you would basically exterminate one of the three branches of the whole nation's government.

true, but how many times a year will you catch the entire legislative branch of our government congregated together in that building? i say at most once a year at the 1st session for each turnover
A hell of a lot more than that...think about all of the speeches the President makes and have you ever watches C-Span? They are in there a lot. The sessions are not part-time like a lot of state senates, the US Senate is a full-time job.
The way I understood it was that only necessary parties and commissions gather during these sessions. Not every senator/rep is there for every session especially when they are not pollying for any motions/bills/etc..
That’s why I said its near impossible to catch every single senator/rep in attendance during any given session throughout the year. But I do agree that during presidential speeches such as state of the union, etc..
For example rite now during the mitchell report hearings, only necessary involved parties would be present while the mlb officials are testifying on capitol hill. According to the schedule you provided they are convening today, this would imply the members with matters to attend to today.
