I used to play left midfielder, in a 4-3-3 (every non-professional team in Holland plays 4-3-3) so it wasn't really left winger, more of a defensive role. I played left back for a season, but only because there was a shortage of defenders

I've always loved and had that striker mentality, but when i was in a first official team U-16s my coach played me as a RB and push me up as a winger (much like cafu), always coming off the bench for the first 3-4 games. In one game i couldn't take it no more, i couldn't play RB, we were struggling, our strikers were off that day, so i told the coach i wanted to come off the bench as a striker. So i did and scored two goals, to win the game 0-2.. neva put outta position again afta that match..went off to be players' players of the season.. My first official season, one i will neva forget
