I think my thumb drive just croaked. I've been retrieving files from one computer and placing them on another. The thumb drive is reading completely full even though it's absolutley empty. Is there a way to fix this? Or should I just go buy a new one?

Yep. When I've had that happened, what Zé says has done the trick. Format it as you would a new hard drive in your OS, and suddenly the free space should magically appear.
