I just said i exaggerated on him being our number 1 priority. I didn't even see his goals against lithunia. I have on the other hand seen some of his games playing for italy's U-20 and U-21 team.
You edited your post, therefore I didn't know you were "exaggerating." He's a talent but like I said before he's not a proven player as even in Serie B with Torino he only netted 7 times in 36 matches. He might score some wondergoals, yes, but what we need is somebody who can consistently score, a la Trezeguet or Huntelaar. We already have a nice array of support strikers in Del Piero and Giovinco as well as Palladino, so we don't need him really. We need a goal-getter replacement for Trezeguet.

Don't listen to him... he's got blinders on.
What sort of blinders are they? I'm not the one with the Italia flag draped across my face with the flag pole stuck in my ass.

By the way, great job being wrong about Deschamps.

some of you did not see the 2 goals he scored for Italy? not one on his first 90minute appearance but 2!! the first goal was great, the second was the dog's bullo***!!! if you haven't seen it /i really suggest you download it.
does not have the characteristics of Trezegol but he's 23!! he absolutely loves our Captain, should have heard his comments after the game! also, if you look at his goals this past season, they are all like the ones he's scored for Italy yesterday! this guy is really good, so if we do end up buying him let's all be happy!

about Giovinco he will go away for 1-2 years to a smaller club to play in Seria A before coming back; I saw him against Bologna! My God, at half time he was warming up and the kid has so much skills! like a little Maradona! awesome, again guys it's all great stuff for a brighter future!

As a striker it is more important to be like Trez and be good positionally to score 20 tap ins in a season rathe thant sore 10 brilliant goals.

I think he's just hot right now. He can score some amazing goals and that's all fine but he can miss the easy goals it's unbelievable!!!

Wait till the defenses know how to play him you'll see he won't score those eurogoals that easily.

yeah like how it happened to adriano but this guy have more shooting talent than adriano and he looks more like batistuta i mean he can use his right or left foot with the same talent so even when someone man mark him when he have the space hes very dangerous

He would be a much better player to buy than Iaquinta who is useful too but not nearly as talented or dangerous.

An attach consisting of Quagliagol - Palladino would be awesome !

Quagliagol is extremely dangerous and would certainly get a lot of the defenders attention, and then we stil have Palladino who also has the technique and shot to get the goals!

It would be very difficult for our opponents to take care of both players who has the skills to do things on their own.

My opinion.

Quagliarella is an extremely lively player - He is more than just scoring fantastic goals. He reminds me a bit of Henry; hug the sideline take fullbacks, cut into the box and cause havoc. Obviously he doesnt have the guile of Titi, but I think Quagliarella would be a smashing player as a wing-forward in trident attack. And second goal against Lithuania was out of this world.

He is way better Iaquinta and much younger and i think we should go for him. But we need Trez cause he is a great finisher and very good in air. I just hope wants to renew his contract.

Quagliarella is talented. There are no two ways about him.He isnt Trezeguet's replacement, but like Tesoro said,he's a complete forward. But having said that,id rather have Bianchi over him.
