I just recieved a PS2 from some of my friends D: : : ).

now I have to buy some games to play (that can help).
Which games do I need?

I was thinking 'bout Gran Turismo 4, Metal Gear Solid 3, NFS Underground 2....

what should I buy? help me pls!

I played halo 2 at a friends place, and I have to say that it's pretty cool once I get used to it enough that i don't get dizzy from the screen.

How does this socom compare to halo2? is it also a shooter?

In Socom you can have a first-person view and a third person view in which you can watch your player from behind. Personally I like the latter because you get a better view of your surroundings.

Socom is game about US Navy Seals fighting against terrorists in different locations. Playing the game online is particulary cool because you can play either as a Seal or a terrorist in different scenarios like bomb defusals and hostage situations.

Halo 2 probably has better graphics and I think you can operate vehicals as well, unlike Socom in which on-foot strategy is the main theme along with shooting. They both are great games but I like Socom better because I have PS2.

I prefer 3rd person view too. even in car/racing games.
Anyhow, I don't think I'll play socom.

Yeah I didn't think you would, however it was a good game until you master every single map and win a bunch of clan battles.

socom would be cool, but It would lag since I download stuff all days same with my brothers... Online gaming is a nightmare for me
