ok i did my usual and unlocked the classic teams only to find that there is no Zico and Pele in brazil,no Ardiles or Kempes in Argentina,no Gerd Muller in germany,etc... what the fuck? these guys have been mainstays of the games over the years,Konami,i am one disgruntled consumer

That's it. I'm done with the game. It's always the same bloody thing with Konami. My brother and I, we're of about the same level, which means pretty much all of our games are decided by blunders. I didn't even get through the first round with Argentina (we were playing a World Cup), because my goalie fucked up against both Nigeria and South Korea. And I'm not talking about normal mistakes here. Five goals that should never have happened and instead of me winning both games 2-0, I lost both 2-3. The same thing happened to my brother who was playing with France and I beat him with South Africa with two of the luckiest goals you will ever see.

Don't get me wrong, I think the gameplay is far better than FIFA, but at least once a game a player you have no power over makes a mistake that's going to cost you a goal. It's insane and it ruins everything. I mean, now we have South Africa and South Korea advancing to the second round, instead of France or Argentina, but it doesn't have anything to do with skill, it's just being lucky.

My limited number of losses (Yes, I’m the best) happen because of those stupid glitches. That’s always the case with PES. People use the glitches in the game to score.

Goalies mistakes are sooooooo insane high of rate that they are like their own game. Its bit too ridicolous too often.

It's unbelievable. I mean, Argentina-South Korea, 0-3 after 15 minutes, three mistakes by the goalie. Two shots from at least 30 metres away, one wasn't going in, but he punches it in himself, the other was deflected by a centre back, but instead of picking the ball up (it was going about 5km per hour at that time), he lets the damn thing run through his legs. Third goal was pretty annoying too as he actually had caught the ball, but somehow dropped it again.

Now I can see the fun if this happens once, but France's goalie had already decided the game before too.

The issue is scripting in the game, it makes games have things you cant control to make it a more interesting game, but i know whats interesting.....playing the fucking game

how I hate that! especially with the dude you're playing against always takes fucking Barca.

2009 is way better and much more realistic IMO and that's why we always play it here despite having the new version.
