The Primavera are bidding to give their Next Generation Series qualification aspirations a significant boost when they take on Manchester City in England this evening.
The 8pm kick-off (7pm English time) will see Marco Baroni’s young guns aim to replicate the killer instinct in front of goal which yielded a 4-0 success over Empoli on Sunday afternoon.
As it stands both the Primavera and City occupy second place in Group 2 with five points each. Attilio Lombardo’s Blues, however, have played a game more than the Bianconeri.
With two encounters remaining and group leaders Paris Saint Germain already safely through to the next round, a win at Ewen Fields would put Juventus in pole position to book their place in the last 16.
