The Primavera’s preparations for the championship play-offs continued with a friendly encounter against Pro Vercelli, a side currently vying for promotion to Serie B.
Despite missing several Italian international players, the Bianconeri put on a good display, matching their opposition for significant spells of the encounter. The game finished 5-2 to the Leoni, with defensive duo Carlos Garcia and Gouano getting on the scoresheet in the second half.
The final play-off stages are set to get underway in Gubbio on 2 June.
