The Primavera will begin their defence of last season’s Viareggio Cup crown when they lock horns with Slovenian outfit Maribor on Monday 11 February.
The reigning champions, who lifted last year’s trophy following a 2-1 victory over Roma, will open the 65th edition of the prestigious youth tournament with a 3pm kick-off at Viareggio’s Bresciani stadium.
Monday’s encounter represents the first of the Bianconeri’s three group games. Their second fixture sees them take on Avellino on Wednesday 13 February, before rounding off the qualification stage with a clash against Australian side APIA Leichhardt on Friday 15 February.
