The Primavera’s Viareggio Cup campaign continues to gather pace. Last night’s 3-1 success over Club Guaranì saw the young Bianconeri edge a step closer to a place in the final of the prestigious youth tournament.
In order to reach the last hurdle, Marco Baroni’s side must overcome Parma in tomorrow’s semi-final showdown. Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm, with the game to be broadcast live on Rai Sport.
The squad commenced their preparations this morning, dividing work between the pool, gym and the grounds of the team hotel.
Stefano Padovan will miss out on the clash with Parma after the striker was shown a red card in the closing stages of yesterday’s victory. Gialloblu midfielder Batonio has also been handed a one-match suspension.
