The Primavera are preparing to get their European adventure up and running. As confirmed over the past few weeks, Marco Baroni’s side will make their debut in the 2012/13 NextGen Series, a prestigious international youth tournament comprised of 24 teams from the continent.
The young Bianconeri have been drawn alongside Fenerbahce, Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain in Group B. The format is similar to that of the Champions League, with home and away legs contested and qualification for the top two of each group.
Following an official announcement from Alessandria Calcio, Juventus will play their home fixtures at the Stadio Giuseppe Moccagatta. The dates for the first three home encounters have already been confirmed. Fenerbahce provide the first opposition on Wednesday 29 August, followed by Paris Saint Germain on Wednesday 19 September and Manchester City on Wednesday 31 October.
Arrangements for the Primavera’s away fixtures will be announced in due course.
