They fickle as shit, was likely only 2 level headed posts in that carried away thread.

But to be fair, fans tend to do that with talented young players, especially isolated mindset ones like EPL.

Also it helps that even in short burst Spence has been a revelation in a position usually a weak spot for standout talents in the game.

proud of our boy. he came a long way since being an eclectic but inconsistent player in the austrian league, now he's a key player to a team that is most probably the next pl champion

Salah on track for Ballon D'or. Just needs to stay fit and for liverpool to reach the CL semis at minimum to win it.

CL favorites are Madrid and Pool imo. Their first meeting in the league phase was before Madrid found its balance. By end of season Madrid will be an unstoppable machine they have the ingredients of another Bale/Benzema/Ronaldo kind of lethal force.

I'll say it again, Arsenal are the most overrated team in Europe. Every single time there's a bit of pressure to perform, they collapse.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6143432/2025/02/21/tottenham-hotspur-name-spurs/

How's this for a laugh? Per The Athletic, Tottenham are asking not to be called Tottenham.

The answer lies in an email that was circulated to Premier League broadcasters on February 10, that has been seen by The Athletic. Titled “Tottenham Hotspur Naming Update”, the email makes clear how the club wants to be referenced.

“Tottenham Hotspur have provided clarification regarding the club’s name. They have requested that the club are primarily known as Tottenham Hotspur, with Spurs being the preferred short version. The club have requested that they are not referred to as Tottenham.
Lads, it's Tottenham.

Manchester United confirm up to 200 redundancies: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6156082/2025/02/24/manchester-united-redundancies-cuts-explained/

Sounds like a never-ending clusterfuck at that club. Hey guys, here's a splash of gruel - that will definitely help with staff morale.

The cut-backs will see United’s London office have a reduced staff going forward and will be combined with changes to the provision of food for employees, with the staff canteen at Old Trafford set to close.

Catering at Carrington will be unchanged for the remainder of the season but is expected to eventually see staff offered only soup and bread once the training ground’s main building reopens, with no changes to offerings for players.

Historically speaking, why does Arsenal have so many fans? I mean, even Real Madrid have more European trophies than them.
They are the most successful London-based club. Arsenal have 13 league titles and 14 FA Cups. Their invincibles season (2003-04) gave them lots of fans during the 2000s. Wenger also brought something different to the league with his attacking possession-based football in my opinion.

Very successful, 0 CL trophy. Their contribution in the final of European competitions is almost equal to Fiorentina and their achievements are less than top Italian clubs.

So, by selling Henry, Arsenal will get millions of fans?
