Focusing on one competition instead of 2 = nothing

Teams can benefit or actually loss on "focusing on one competition". It can go both ways, so it really means nothing. Every game is important, every title is important.

Liverpool keep winning. They’re having a great season after a dissapointed CL group stage where I think they got really lucky. But after they drawed Porto I can see winning at least one big trophy now. Two months ago I was sure they would choke.

That's why teams regularly win trebles? Or even CL/League doubles?

This Liverpool team are not giving up, another hard fought win, back top. Liverpool could win every remaining game and still come 2nd, that's how good City are. This is a great title race, hopefully we see one soon in Serie A.

Every team concetrates on winning every trophy possible, not every team is able to win it everything. Simple as it gets. Juventus have league in their bag at the moment, it could be a plus or it can actually be a loss. Depends on team mentality.

Maybe I'm looking at it from Juve standpoint. I think it's definitely a plus for us considering our injury record. Also we were playing like garbage in the 3 weeks between 2 games against Atleti, so we probably did focus on one competition in that period.

Well with injuries it's probably a plus since you can keep your players on the bench and don't need to risk them, but it's also a big matter of how they'll show up in the big games after.
