If we can't outsmart Tottenham and Pochettino over two knock-out games, I'll be hugely disappointed. Close down the front four and kill Tottenham thru intelligent counter attacking and low tempo gameplay. Their backline is very exposed behind Dembele and Dier. Only way to lose to Tottenham is if we go Premier League-gonzo and play to their advantage where Eriksen, Kane, Son, and Dele Alli can shine in a high tempo game.
Completely disagree. The way to beat Tottenham is to press, that's where Liverpool were having success. As soon as they backed off, the game swung in Spurs' favour.

That said, this game has no bearing on the upcoming CL game, as Liverpool and Juventus are chalk and cheese in terms of tactics / personnel. The dynamic of that game will be completely different.

You miss the fact that we know how to defend deep, unlike Pool and Kloppo.

We used to suck the life out of the best teams in the world, why wouldn't we do it to tottenham?

Sit back, let you guys pass around our box where it doesn't hurt us, slow down the tempo and then slowly take control of the game when you are starting to become desperate.

This is a contradiction.
