I'm starting to really resent this shit league. They're making us Belgians squander the best generation we'll ever have, by completely and utterly destroying their sense for tactics.

Political scene is definitely a contributing factor. I think the current government are trying their best to take the fun out of everything. They are harping on about promoting Thainess and Thai Culture, but let's be honest, how many tourists are gonna come to listen to Thai music and visit temples? I mean sure, you go to one or two temples, but the rest is all about having fun. Beaches, Booze, and Bitches.

My point is that that is not the reason why Belgium underperforms in international comps.
