Lol so Sanchez was dropped because of a training ground bust up. In situation like these you wouldn't put him on the bench either, but wenger decided to bring him late on against pool.
Whether Mings stepped on zlatan's head intentionally or not is debateable. IMO he jumped over rooneys leg and as he described it “I jumped over someone else I think and then yeah if I caught him, I caught him,” Mings said. “It’s a big jump if you are asking me to jump over two people."
He will probably get around the same punishment.
Rooney claimed he was "right there" and "saw the studs to the head"

On the side here is an Interesting old trafford penalty statistics
even if it's not intentional, it's still punishable, you should watch where you jump. penalty should be smaller than for intentional, but I think there still should be penalty, it could've caused a very serious trauma if Zlatan was unlucky.

It wouldn't be punishable. It's a jump. It's not a tackle, it's not a challenge. And players were tumbling over each other. The only way that is a foul is if it is intentional.
And I like Zlatan, but what he did was way worse. It's part of his game and probably part of why he's so good, but he should still be punished severely. Especially because this wasn't something rash done by a teenager.

what if he Zlatan is unlucky and it causes a serious trauma, the guy is still not responsible for that jump?
imo it's his fault if he isn't looking and starts jumping on peoples heads and doesn't even apologise, if someone did it to me or my teammate in amateur football, I'd do my best to kick his ass

In an ideal world if there was no intention and is clear to see then there should be no ban.
But because of how serious of it could have been, maybe he should get a 1 match ban. Its a difficult one because decisions like these would then make players conscious of spending less time looking at the ball and more of where they are running.
If he says he did his best to jump over them and didn't even see Zlatan, there's no culpability.
Either he knew Zlatan was there and it was intentional, or he didn't. There's no in between imo.
he didn't do it on purpose, but he acted way too carelessly by not looking where he's jumping and simply ran away after the incident. if he had acted like a man, maybe he wouldn't have gotten the much deserved elbow
