1 minut added time

Double pass by del peir and davids on the edge of the box, through pass inside the box, rustu gets to it befor buffon

46: shot by saviola from 20+ meters out, straight into buffon who boxes it, it falls back to saviola who passes it to the right to quaresma, he runs in tries to shoot from an angle on the right but its blocked. Corner, but nothing comes of it.

Juve was very unlucky not to score. Davids is the man of the first half.......not competition.

Barca's gk, Rustu, did everything he was supposed to and then some. However Buffon wasn't too sharp today. He blocked the ball and punched it straight ahead on several occasions.

I'm really impressed by Appiah. How did Juve discover him??

Nedved, DP didn't add much to the game, except for that shot by DP which Rustu amazingly saved.

Anyway, I feel good about their performance. Hope they keep it up.

Now for a recap:

Juve's play obviously lacked creativity, with del piero and neddy almost invisible, and it could be expected without a real right winger. Camo or Miccoli are need for some flair.

We were very unstable and lacked concentration in defence, which is not a suprise considering we started with Iuliano, Biri and legro. Legro has especially been bad tonight, causing many fouls outside the box, and of course the penalty. Considering his hight he should have stopped the second goal.

Our best player so far is Davids, who is the biggest danger to barcelona. he did some great things on the left, with a few good crosses. Appaiah, is probably 2nd in the terms of play, but he hasnt really done anything special except a shot that went inches outside rustus right post.

We had 3 great chanches. The first one when treze tried to get the ball round rustu, but went too close and the keeper managed to kick it out into a corner.

The second was Del pieros strong volley that went straight into rustu, and nedveds shot from a tight angle on the right of the goal, that went outside the post

Any questions?

well not much to discover sens he was one of the best players in serie a last season and was top 5 in the rating.

add to that milan and lots of other teams was after him, actually juve didnt do lots of discovering as we are known for in the transfer market, instead bought the new revelations of last season, maresca, appiah, leggrottaglie and brought back miccoli, all of them having high ratings.

Oh, I see. I thought they got him straight from his original club, Hearts of Oak, in Ghana (or is it Nigeria?).

It should be interesting in the second half
If Lippi shanges the whole lineup, Montero and Ferrara would bring stability into the defence. Pessoto should take the lb position and maybe Tudor will take the rb (if he's fit).

I expect Camo on the right side, Maresca in the middle and Miccoli and Di Vaio should be really agile up front, moving a lot trying to get into goal positions, something treze didnt give us... it will be interesting
