Liverpool had already stated that if they sell gerrard, Real Madrid would be the first team they offer him to. And I think Real look like the most possible, chelsea already have a good enough midfield line. Not desperate like Madrid

lol yeah I was :D
If more people saw that your ass would have been roasted. :D

But seriously, what pressure? Why does he have to win something? I think what he has done already has shown him to be a great player. If he fvcks it and fails thats just a waste of talent, won't mean he wasn't great. Honours isn't everything.
Honors aren't everything, yet the best players in the world in my book are champions. The pressure I'm talking about is the same pressure Sebastian Deisler cracked under, the weight of a nation on his shoulders at such a young age. All of these labellings Rooney receives just keep raising the bar for the lad, and if that bar gets too high he might not be able to reach it and be considered a disapointment. High hopes were put on players such as Deisler, Owen, and Del Piero, and they failed meet their supposed potential put on them by media and fans.

Rooney could be the best player under the age of 20, however he's far from being the best player in the world and still has a lot to improve on. Yes, he scores a lot of wonder goals like that, however there is much more to being successful. Man United has only scored 50 goals in 34 games this season, a total that is their lowest since the mid 90's. Rooney was relied heavily on to provide goals and create them, and Manure's record thus far has been disapointing to some. Rooney has had a good season though, however did he live up to the rankings people were giving him in the summer? I saw matches this season where Rooney was very good, and saw matches where Rooney was not that influential and rather disapointing. In my opinion Rooney hasn't proved anything yet except he has a lot of talent. We'lll see what he does with it.

It's silly though, he keeps scoring these amazing goals and people still keep brushing him off. I'm just wondering why. I'll tell you right now if Del Piero scored 1 goal like that, and really I mean 1, he would gain enough praise on this board to support another full season with his silly wage with Juve. Yet Rooney does this all the time and it's 'oh lets see him win something, let's see this let's see that. Why do we always complicate these things?
Del Piero has scored goals like that, but yeah if he scored one now people would be over the moon. Why? Well, because he's our beloved captain. You must understand that Alex has given a lot to this side, guided us to different honors, scored a lot of amazing goals, and people love him. Same cannot be said about Rooney on this board. This is something you must let slide, being on a Juventus board. People saying Rooney is overrated is their opinion, and in some cases they have a point, especially when he is compared to other European greats.

And what do you mean keep scoring these amazing goals? I only remember two wonder goals from Rooney this season.

You scored a goal like that Andy? Yeah fvcking right. I think no way you could hit a ball that hard and curl it around the keeper like that. Don't lie :D
Well, it wasn't as hard of a shot as Rooney's, but it was set up just like it. I'm not joking here. :D

It is a serious board with serious Users, and the user said that he means it serious and isnt a joke. Another thing is that we are now closer to Gilardino as Milan.

Inter Challenge Chelsea For Gerrard

The Liverpool captain is set to leave the Reds at the end of the season.
Inter are the latest club to be linked to Steven Gerrard as the England international player is sought by some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

The most likely destination seems Chelsea, but the Nerazzurri are ready to meet the demands of both the club and player in order to seal the deal and place a solid midfielder alongside Veron for next season.

Gerrard costs around 30 million Euros, a sum which both Chelsea and Inter can match.

Inter? I read this text too! But I think, when Inter bid for him, we can made it better!
And when he should choose between Inter and Juve! I think he will not choose Inter!!

Forza Juve

Inter are just as stupid as Real Madrid, the difference is that Real Madrid are more lucky.

Gerrard is a Liverpool boy through and through, and I often get the feeling that Gerrard wouldn't play for another club with the same passion and fire that he plays with for the Reds.

I'm not saying that he wouldn't try his best etc, but I really can't see him showing the same reaction playing for another team as he did as Liverpool's captain, after scoring his side's first goal against Milan.
