Would not be surprising, they lost Woodgate, we have Canna.

I think we could also put a high price on his head, since Newcastle are not short of cash right now.

he can still be sold, but the fact that we signed him on should be an indication that we have plans for him this season :wallbang:

signing the contract only means that he cannot be bought for low price, as no outgoing contract at the end of the season, so no Davids situation. For me, when his contract was renewed, my first thought was that he will be sold. we'll see

Kind of. They're trying to replace one excellent but injury-prone central defender with another. That's not progress in my book. I think they could do better.
