In some ironic way, I think it would have been worse if Juve won a couple of key games against Roma or Milan and then fell away, gone a little further in the Champions League, etc. Because I'd say that this team has perhaps overachieved a little for where they really deserve to be.
With the awful collapse of the Scudetto, Champions League, and possibly Coppa Italia within 2 weeks (where they scored a total of one goal in three games), with the record-setting defensive goals-allowed tally, etc. -- nobody can hide behind the fact that this is clearly a substandard team.
