You know I would be all over making this sticky. But I'm just one of those few freaks who follows Portuguese football closely. Not many do.

Oh, but what the heck. We've got [FRA]Le Championnat 06/07 up there, after all...

Luisao is injured right now but he's pretty good clumsy but our best defender, Miccoli is just an amazing player, Benfica's best striker by far.

@ whoever asked, Bwin sponsers the league it use to be Galp (Gas station) Superliga.

There some useful players at porto

I hope we can get Pepe and Lucho Gonzalez
Nah, let's get Criscito and Brazagli instead, Pepe won't leave for less than 10-14 mil, and Lucho is Porto's captain and he keeps the midfielders together, so you put a price on that.

Juventus shouldn't go for players in the Portuguese league, the Portuguese league is at a period where the top 3 teams are equally matched, Benfica with their 105 or so million euros are looking to renewing the squad, Porto with a great team all around looking to rebuild some areas in the squad, and Sporting coming in with a ton of good youngsters, the teams aren't looking to let anyone leave.

Sporting has signed Nani, Yannick, and Miguel Veloso on contracts until 2009, 2011, 2012, respectively.

Sporting starlet Nani being tracked by Spurs
Sporting Lisbon have warned Premiership clubs that it will cost £13.5million to sign winger Nani.

The 20-year-old has been attracting interest this season following his displays in the Champions League, with Tottenham the latest club linked with a move for the Portugal international.

The youngster is believed to have a clause which would see him leave for £13.5million, with his club appearing reluctant to let him go for less.

A Sporting spokesman told skysports.com: 'The club that wants the kid have a price, 20million euros (£13.5million). Only by this money would we be disposed to let Nani leave.

'We know of the interest of several English clubs for Nani, and that is normal because of his quality - but until this moment we have received no offer in writing.'

Nani has been compared with Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, who was signed from Sporting in 2003.

United have been linked with a move for the Portuguese prospect following their previous business with the club. French side Lyon have also been suggested as a possible destination.

Nani is represented by Jorge Mendes, who is also the agent of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

'The decision depends on Sporting because the player has a deal,' said Mendes. 'But Nani is a player of enormous potential and other big clubs have asked about his situation.'

He is good, but still a child and he is really cocky I think he should go to Man Utd only because they have great coaches but he does have "enormous potential" but he is a little baby and will not achieve that potential unless he goes to a team like Man Utd with a positive influence on him.
