For those having trouble "understanding what all the fuss is about", try to look past your anti-religion stance and see that the Pope is in fact a world leader just as any head of state. When Tito died, did Yugoslavia ignore this fact and carry on that day as just some other old man has died? No. Did you know that all sporting events were postponed the week that John Kennedy was killed in 1963? Do you expect life to be just another day in Cuba when Fidel Castro dies?

The Pope is bigger than any one world leader, because he transcends the international borders. He is adored all over the planet. So, like him or not; agree with him or not, you really don't understand the world around you if you fail to see "what all the fuss is about."

TBH, I didnt say I dont understand what the fuss is about, I just said that I personaly dont care.

That doesnt mean I dont respect him. He did many great things in his life, including visit Bosnia and herzegovina, but I simply dont care, nor does his death affect me, the same as with any famous person, world leader or entertainer, that dies, and also when anyone whos' death doesnt affect me. Same with the tsunami vicitms. Yeah, sure, it's very sad and tragic, but do I really care? No.

P.S. Does anyone else think he actually died yesterday but they didnt want to announce he died on april 1st?

P.P.S. Yeah, R.I.P.

This is how I feel, and I didn't think about the April 1st thing, but that would be crazy if that had happened.

Its too big of a deal to not announce it because it was April 1st

And for example the fools day isnt celebrated on april 1st in Latin America

I dont think Europe celebrate it either on april 1st or do they?

Well, I did know that, beotch. But I didn't understand the point you were trying to make between Latin America and the death of the pope, and the significance of when April fools day is celebrated.
