I got the v300 with Tmobile also.

At nosubsitute, tell me more about the date cable for the 300. Its pretty hard to find in the malls. What's the cost. Also the software, I tried to burn it but never got through.

No complaints yet. I get good reception wherever I have been so far in Miami.

I like the V300. Looks nice, nice features, easy to use. Too bad you can only get AIM and not MSN.

Here's the one I got from e-bay. You can't beat 6 bucks including shipping. :thumb:

As for the software, it's about 86 MB. I've got the setup files and it's also online at www.vxxxstuff.com forums.

6 bucks is really good actually. Some places were selling it for like $30.

I never used ebay before, is it reliable? Also, how much will shipping cost average and how long does it normally take?

Okay it said shipping would be like around $6. The link you gave me said that cable was sold for 29 cents. Is that you? Also, 29 cents????

Not bad huh?

I guess you now know the answer for most of the questions you asked me, but here we go anyway. e-bay, the site, is a third party site and the only reliability you get is that of the seller, so check the feedback. The guy I bought from had 108,000 feedbacks....98.5% were positive.......so I was fairly confident when I bid. And yes....I got mine for $0.29 plus $6 for shipping. They're not official Motorola cables and that's why they're cheap, but they work just as fine.

The link I gave you was that of the auction that I won. The winning bidder (myouni1) is me. And $8.90 is not bad either.......sure beats the hell out of $20 or $30.

And yes......you can download the software from here

It depends on where the seller is shipping from. From Los Angeles to Baton Rouge, it took 5 business days by USPS. It'll probably take no longer than a week from one side of the states to the other.

If you people travel on train or bus, I suggest getting a student advantage card, they give discounts on Amtrak and Greyhound
