I dont think it means much now though, later in the long run, they are planning to include those team leaders in the game, thats where it could have a difference, other than that,it just means you can train your pokemon at the color gyms that are matching to yours, which for me dont mean much as i dont do any training yet,only catching them all right now and getting level ups..

but supposedly their pokemons are the stronger ones compared to the others, in general of course.. I am biased because of Charizard though.. lol

Too many yellow gyms I want to take over gyms but I can't overtake from teammates

Gyms last for less than 30 minutes here, especially the crowded areas, they last for like 5-10 mins, some other teams would just come and take over and repeat.
even the crazy out of sight places will probably last 1 day max..Its crazy here in Jakarta, its not even official yet!

I was told that yellow would be best in the long run. I don't suppose being yellow might give us a shot at getting zapdos when the legendary pokemon are released

Really? Ive only been advised to check which team is controlling the most gyms and go for the least one since it means you can battle and take over more, thats why I went for red. Blue and yellow are quite popular where im at, but nowadays so is red

I have no clue what the colors mean. I really know nothing about Pokemen. But catching them relaxes me and is actually a pretty fun guilty pleasure.
