Bianconeri midfielder Paul Pogba expressed his delight at netting his first goal for the club in front of a full house at Juventus Stadium.
Speaking moments after Saturday night's 2-0 win over Napoli, Pogba said: “I’m really happy and proud of my first goal in the black and white stripes. In those moments you don’t think about anything. You try to shoot and that’s all. In this case it paid off.”
The 19-year-old had plenty of options in the summer but insists that Turin was the only destination for him.
“There were other teams interested in me over the summer, but I wanted to sign for Juventus. Many French champions have played here, such as Platini, Henry, Trezeguet, Zidane and Vieira. I spoke to Patrick and he advised me to come to Juventus.”
