I rather see AAA Multi Plats that mediocre exclusives. Sony name a million exclusives but how many were actually good? We are in the 7th year of this gen and UC 1,2 & 3, GOW 3, Heavy Rain, MGS4, LBP and GT5 were the only exclusives I liked.

It was more then ok, and Sony release plently of medium level entertaining games exclusively, give them time and money to be made, while they still do the same multi-plats like elsewhere. I think Sony are doing WAY to many multi-plats (compared to before), cant stand it, imagine what I think of a console who can barely release more then a couple of exclusives regurarly...

Ok, but you can see those AAA Multi Plats at the conferences for those particular developers. That is the whole point. Microsoft is getting further and further away from the core gamer

Wasting your money on a medium level game just because its exclusive to a console of your choice is just ridiculous. They might be few and far between but almost all the xbox exclusives have been blockbusters. Everyone knows that the ps3 has more exclusives but its exaggerated to a large extent. Gears, Halo and Forza are not the only xbox exclusives. Mass effect 2, Gta stories of liberty city and Limbo were released almost a year early, Alan wake and Orange box are among my all time favs. Splinter cell conviction, PGR 3 & 4 were really enjoyable and not to mentions all the DLC's and Patches that appear on XBL first.

Not trying to start a console war, I own both the consoles. Just my opinion.

While MS finished their conference with multiplat generic COD, sony did it with Last of Us that was very exciting to see. Beyond: Two souls was intriguing too. But best for me is a multi-plat game called Watchdog, Ubi soft took E3 by storm

Nothing wrong in finishing their conference with the best selling franchise of this gen. Activision has hold time and again that the 360 is their main platform. Last of us looks promising so does Halo 4 and Forza horizon(I jizzed a little during the day-night transformation in the trailer). Cant say the same about the new gears

COD is a huge franchise, but besides being a boring one in terms of it was nothing new to show, I get showcasing it, but ENDING with it is extra weak because you are supposed to show something fresh and exciting. Besides being exclusive, which COD isnt however they may deem Xbox to be their first console, its released on every platform, but as I said it was a downer to finish it off with that mainly because its just another COD, how is that ending things by leaving an impression on peeps. Last Of Us was a great choice to end a conference with in comparison.


They are sequels, those exclusives, same exclusives they had since the beginning, but yeah out of those I like Forza, better then GT IMO, even if I dont own an Xbox and played Forza enough, but its smooth as heck driving (even if I dont like racing games too much, doesnt take long for me to get bored of them).


I agree about New Gears, that such a lame trailer, for a 2013 release, that didnt look that new or exciting of a game.

You may find it boring(I find MW series boring, I loved BO), but not the 20m+ people playing COD on XBL. Also BO 2 is set in the future, a first for a COD game. BO 1 had an amazing story, rated the best video game ending of all time.

Here is what got me excited about the MS Conference.


Halo 4, XBOX Glass Technology. I would have loved to see a couple of new IP's though.

I have PS+ (mainly for possible beta access), but havent checked new free games, heard LBP2 is one of them. I only log on psn in weekends these days to play the Dust 514 beta.

How long has the Dust 514 beta been out?

Its in closed/private state (though I can get a hold a code for you easily), this stage of the beta has been going since late April, has opened up with more people getting codes in last 2-3 weeks.

GTA V will be one of the greatest games ever made. That game will dwarf all the other games at E3 put together. If rockstar knew anything besides making good games, they would show a trailer at E3 and steal the entire show. The only thing that would outshine GTA V would be a new Xbox or PS console.
