The 2nd and all other parts after it are more diverse and not as repetitive as the first part. Plus, the story steps up a few notches. Bear through the first part, and just start playing teh 2nd. You'll love it.

I didn't even play more than 20 mins in AC1, was pretty boring and weak graphics. Just play 2 and Brotherhood, you only have 5 more weeks to Revelations
