Check your newspaper ads tomorrow. If I'm correct, the 80GB PS3 drops to 299, and the 160GB drops to 399

Just in time for Aaron and Andy to pick one up, so that we, along with Dru,Burke, and myself can start our own clan for M.A.G., the new 256 player online game coming out in january from the developers of Socom. I'm talking about Zipper interactive, not Slant Six, the developers of the abortion known as Gino Gen........... I mean Socom Confrontation.

Holy shit, MAG looks pretty tight and I trust the Socom guys. I may have to use some of my forex gains for one of those.

And starting a clan would be aight. I have clan experience and was in the number 2 clan for a bit in Socom II. ;)

256 players on same map, its a massive playing online game instead of just a normal online shooter :D

I dont think we can have a clan persé in this set up, because we choose one of 3 mercenary corps, and everyone on that corp with us a fellow brother in arms (in the overall war against the 2 other corps), with superiors who give mission orders in a chain of command hierarchy that goes all the way down to a single 8 man squad, and single soldier. But guess closest we can get to a clan is being on the same 8 man squad that have the same objective etc.

And oh, yeah, I'll be positionned on the rearguard in any future squad, not because I am good on covering others backs, but no one do I trust Burke being behind me :D

Hmm, yeah that may take a while to get used to. I'm not exactly sound on how the game is actually set up.

But 256 players on one map is fucking insane. The only problem is - if I have it right - if you're the first one to die you might as well be REALLY dead and already in purgatory. :D

unbeknownst to me, it seems as if I had my ps3 running for 15 hour straight. I got a friend invite. Alas, it was canceled when I went to respond to it

Andy, Aaron, pick up a PS3 Slim so that we can start that MAG Clan.

The fans spoke and we listened.

For those that recall the God of War survey conducted earlier this year, an overwhelming amount of the community suggested the PlayStation 2 experiences of Kratos be brought forth to the PlayStation 3.

Thanks to your feedback, we are excited to announce the God of War Collection for this Holiday Season. Now fans and newcomers to the series can experience the epic journey of God of War and God of War II in 720p HD form. Both titles have been remastered with anti-aliased graphics, running at 60 frames per second for a smooth gameplay experience, only on the PS3 system. Additionally, the Blu-ray Disc compilation will bring the PlayStation Network (PSN) trophy support to the franchise for the very first time.

This is your chance to experience God of War is its true form before the chaos of God of War III hits store shelves come March 2010.

God of War Storyline
Set in the dark world of ancient Greek mythology, players take on the role of Kratos, a Spartan warrior. Plagued by the nightmares of his past, the ash covered warrior would do anything to be free of his debt to the Gods and the memories that haunt him. For ten years he has labored for Olympus, now on the verge of losing all hope, the Gods have given him one last task. Destroy Ares, the God of War. Armed with the deadly chained Blades of Chaos, Kratos will have to overcome armies of mythological monsters, legions of undead soldiers, and amazingly dangerous and brutal landscapes.

God of War II Storyline
God of War saw Kratos, a mortal warrior, set upon an epic quest to dethrone a God. But his journey did not end there. In God of War II, Kratos sits atop his Olympus throne, as the new God of War – far more ruthless than Ares ever was. To end his continued torment, Kratos must journey to the far reaches of the earth and defeat untold horrors and alter that which no mortal, or god has ever changed… his fate. God of War II sets an epic stage for a devastating mythological war to end all wars.

Yo, Serg, what's the sickest most realistic first-person shooter out there right now?

Realism as far as character movement and weight of weapons would probably be Killzone 2.

For my money though, the best 1st person shooter is COD4: Modern Warfare
