Actually come to think of it, he was not our plan C…. There was another I can’t remember where the club didn’t want to do the loan thing. So he is our plan D already. On to E.

I guess it’s not easy to sign a quality defender who can play the ball on loan.

It's been days now. If he hasn't decided by now it's as good as a no. Move on let him suffer an acl injury
Who the hell knows. I suspect that Atalanta is offering less salary but guaranteeing him a starting spot or something. Motta doesn't give anyone guarantees. Don't know what Fonseca really thinks of him for Milan.

Real desperation from our side and I can't remember when the last time a player needed to be convinced so much to join Juve.
Try to see it from his perspective. If he is leaving Milan, a big club who don't wanna use him regularly after injuries, he wants a permanent move where he can get playing time regularly.

So logically, why would he be eager to sign for Juve if he fears two things. First they don't want to sign him permanently, just loan, so he could be back to Milan next summer again. And secondly don't seem to assure him he will get enough playing time.

His next permanent move will define his young career, so it's smart of him to not rush it.

On the contrary why would we take the risk to sign someone who has missed most of last season through injury. We also need guarantees in that sense.

Even if we do sign him permanently he could still be sold the next year for Plusvalenza to a relegation candidate in the Prem so he's better off staying in Milan.

We past that point, we are the wants after him, and the ones waiting for his answer. He is the one that needs to be convinced about being ok with loan move or no outright guarantees about level of playing time.

This one don't seem to happen, so it's time to move on to another gazillionth option for the defence this summer.

Kalulu has two major doubts about the potential move to Juventus
1) He fears less game time, even though Motta told him that he will play both as a CB and RB

2) Loan with option to buy, instead of obligation, As he doesn't want to be in a situation of finding another club again next year.

Kalulu might want few more days to give a final answer to Juve.

Isn't that partly why we are offering loan with option. That way we are asking the player to prove his fitness and say if he meets certain conditions i.e. plays x amount of games the option is triggered.

Nah move on. Get someone who doesn't need a week to decide which days he needs to wash his hair

I think perhaps the option is strictly an option. Perhaps if we wanted to convince him and Milan, we could introduce conditions that would trigger an obligation. That would include a certain number of games he plays with us etc.

To be fair, I can see where he is coming from. He doesn't want to be in a situation where he keeps going from club to club. But the reality is, his position in Milan doesn't look that secure either.

In that case move on. I only want players who don't needs days and weeks to decide. Either want Juve or you don't. He's spoken with Motta, outlined his intentions, if he's still undecided, then he's no good to me and we have no time to waste.
