To me he's an all-around workhorse style midfielder that can make contributions at both ends of the pitch.

Calm and creative in build-up play, great defensive positioning, covering a lot of grounds every game though not a b2b type, never get injured. Stats doesn't tell much about him but he is able to shoot from distance.

Definitely more versatile and a more likeable player than Rabiot. On the other hand however I see too much overlap in style of play between him and Locatelli.

Given his age and the price tag Hotspurs puts on him, I'd say he should not be our no.1 target in reinforcing the midfield this winter.
