Yup, in New York.

Btw, i don't know if you remember when i asked you for a university (sport management) near New York for my brother. You helped me with lots of info and sites, i sent those to him but the fool found some girl from Chicago and he moved there 3 months ago. He decided not to continue studying.
Ahh, young love. Chicago is pretty sweet as well.

I'm trying to find something, ANYTHING, of redeeming value about my city, and it just seems to get worse and worse.

Now, I don't know if this is supposed to be a re-creation of the Independence Man who stands atop our State House, or if this is supposed to be embattled former mayor Buddy Cianci, former Roman Emperor Caligula, or James Brown with a hairdo that went a little heavy on the hair straightener. I don't know.

I Just.................................................................don't know.

I visited loads of appartments when I got there, September 2006.

I have lived a couple of months in the Grosse Hamburger Strasse in Mitte (Hackescher Markt), then I lived at Schlesiches Tor, and finally on Oranienstrasse (Görlitzer Bahnhof).

Berlin is definitely the coolest city in Europe in my honestly biased opinion. I had the best time of my life there

Oh i completely agree. Im having a ball here. The quality of the apartments and what you pay for them are unreal.. the beer costs like 40 cents for half a liter in the supermarket too! (sternburg)

any plans to move here again?

Not really. I got a good job here, most of my friends are here so I'm more or less settling down (yeah a bit boring I know). But I guess I don't want to break the myth; I was a student in Berlin, basically doing nothing all day, just wandering through the city, going to decadent parties, crazy bars and unbelievable clubs,... student stuff.

I think Berlin is made for students, artists, anarchists and basically everyone who doesn't really care for a steady job. Job opportunities are rather scarce too.

Of course, I keep on going for the occasional party weekend in Berlin!
