I want Ever Banega. I think he would dictate our play perfectly. I would be down for selling Melo and I think the funds would be enough to go for Banega. Everyone at Valencia seems to be for sale if the money if right.

I also think Bonucci was signed as a starter but he is long term signing so if it takes him a bit of time to settle Mexes would be the starter. Or if we are having problems at LB Chiellini can player there some games with MExes and Bonucci together at CB. But regardless I think they will all get games at CB. Chiellini has had his share of injury problems recently.

Central Defence is one position which coach doesn't rotate the player much. There is possibility Chiellini will be played as LB. It definitely an upgrade to DC, Grosso, Moli but certainly not the LB we need and Chiellini best position is on CB.

I like the idea getting Mexes and Bonucci. Having Chiellini, Mexes, Bonucci, and even Legro (as 4th choice) made our central defense looked solid, but i think that is too luxury for our team who not even play in CL. Mexes definitely won't come as backup, that's why he wants to move from Roma. And Bonucci also, he can't become backup if he wants to be the first team player in Azzurri after Canna retired

Chielini at LB? You must be joking at even the possibility
