Melo is a piece of poo player that has accomplished nothing in his career. His original price was over inflated beyond all belief if anything he's worth about €10m or £8.2M, so to me clichy would be being purchased for £16.4M of Arsenal due to their usual non selling of young players policy

Let's not forget the near Euro-Sterling parity at the time which means for 25M euro we payed 20.75M sterling discounting of course the player swap. that's two Arshavins.
Don't let the fact that we payed over double Melos worth originally blind you to his average ability and poor personal control.
