Should I start a poll against Burke becoming a mod? While I think he's a top bloke, him becoming a mod would mean disaster for this forum. Burke has the habit of teaming up with Andy in discussions, and insulting the person they are discussing with until he is banned. Listening to other people's opinions isn't their strongest point. Sorry if this seems harsh but you know it's true.

For more rational arguments, we have enough mods as it is. Swag, Mikhail and Zlatan are always around and too many people are being banned at the moment instead of too few. The only places where more mods are required are the team talk/players/matches sections, now that gray isn't around anymore.

I have nothing against Burke, I actually rate him very highly as a member, but I fear he only wants to become a mod because he thinks it's cool, not because it's needed. Moderators need to be objective, and Burke knows he isn't.

No, you need to look at my post back a page or so, and actually, i have been in top shape since post-ban, you have to admit that.
Oh, but I rate you very highly as a member, but that isn't the point.

You say you want to be a moderator because you 'want to bring an unique view' to the forums. WTF, the only thing you can do as a mod is ban people and close threads. You already bring your unique view by posting. As a moderator you have to be objective in discussions. I already have my doubts over some recent bannings, and I fear you would ban people simply because you disagree with them.

You don't have to agree, but this is just my € 0,02.

What does this have to do with me?

And for your information most of the arguments I become involved with are topics related to Juventus, most of which Burke does not read.

At least Burke knows whats going on around this place unlike some other moderators who shall remain nameless.

Slight contradiction there :)

But Andy, you know what I'm talking about. Everytime if you get into discussions outside the Juventus sections Burke is there choosing your side. There's nothing wrong with that as a member, but it wouldn't be right if he were a mod.

And we seem to agree that too many people have been banned recently for silly personal vendetta reasons. Burke wouldn't be a really bad mod, in fact he would be 1000 times better then Lilianna (no offense), but I fear he would do the same.

Who really cares if he chooses my side...that's his opinion and he can do what he pleases. Doesn't mean he will ban somebody just because he disagrees with him.

Other members have fallen behind the same "click" and always chose the same side and detested the same opposition...a couple of those members became mods. Same nonsense was used against me when somebody called for me to be a mod.

And again, what does this have to do with me? You used the word "their" to describe a trait of Burke's...whats that about.
